Jürgen Horvath is an expert in the construction and real estate business with many years of experience in the industry. In over 30 years of career development in positions as Member of the Executive Board / CEO, general manager, commercial- and project manager at international groups as well at holding companies and medium-sized corporations. Particular experience (in Europe and the USA) of corporate analyses and valuations, providing support for M&A processes, internal audit, financial controlling at affiliated companies, organization and IT management, introduction of MIS/BIS¬ systems, project development and management, real estate portfolio management, reorganization, restructuring and management of real estate and construction companies as well as the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.

Appointed by auditors and banks as an external specialist with particular proficiency in the field of restructuring and analysis prior to and during insolvency.

As a significant distinguishing feature vis-à-vis others in this market segment, there is well-founded expertise which has developed over the long term, both in practical as well as theoretical disciplines. A comprehensive performance and reference list contains topics that have been edited in the past over long periods of time in management positions, resulting in a broad spectrum of industry- and topic-specific knowhow, and ensuring a bridge between technology and economics as well as detailed knowledge and the ability to perceive the bigger picture.

As part of his commitment at ULI, Jürgen Horvath initiated and organized on an honorary basis numerous symposia, lectures and meetings on topics such as urban development, resource efficiency, asset management, renewable energy and many more.
